WELCOME to the Baltimore County Tobacco Resource Center

Smoking is the nation's leading cause of preventable death. The latest statistics from the Maryland Adult Tobacco Survey report that 22% of adults, nearly 9% of pregnant women, and 18% of youth in Baltimore County use some form of tobacco. These rates are slightly higher compared to statewide statistics.

Thanks to funding by the Baltimore County Health Department's Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation Program, the American Lung Association of Maryland is providing a comprehensive community tobacco control program.
